It feels like eternity is passing as you slowly ooze the pungent, viscous poison into my heart. The nerves slowly meet their demise as the gelatin keeps making its way throughout my body. You've corrupted my mind and body now, allowing my very own hard work to fall apart as you continue the slow drip into me. And yet the embrace of death escapes me again, leaving me with just pain. You are the poison, a drain on me that has gone on for far too long. I have stayed due to a hope that was in vain, and now I know all I need to. This time, I'm standing up and walking out, and you'll probably never even notice the pain you caused, the letdown y

If you've seen my work here, you probably noticed it's a bit eclectic. When reading my own work, in fact, it all seems a bit hectic. But I wouldn't give it up for the world, it really shows my seperate sides That are so... varied, it really shows how my emotions reside Religion, girls, and rants are all here, But here also resides my greatest fear, That I will become predictable and no longer varied, And subsequently have all of my inherent rarity buried.

Would you be my pillow? Your warm, soft skin would be more than enough. Would you be my pillow? I'd rather you than some linen and some cotton fluff. Would you be my pillow? I'd never worry about you fraying Would you be my pillow? And you wouldn't worry about me staying. So, would you be my pillow, if only for tonight? Because if you were my pillow, everything would be just right.

This is not a poem. I hate to start a fight, but free verse without meter or rhyme is not a poem. It is prose, or a rant like this one is. If you are going to write an emotional speech on dA, feel free to do so. But don't call it a poem if you just take a rant and put it into stanzas. This is not a poem, and neither is what you wrote. At the very least, put what you did under prose.
